A slice of traditional pie – firefighter style

Oh, don’t you love tradition? In celebration of Bastille Day, each of the fire stations around Paris holds their annual fundraising ball on July 13th. Some are more notorious than others – some are family affairs, some have scantly clad dancing firemen to pull in that extra cash – but each is a good ol’ piece of the Parisian traditional pie. While boy was exploring other parts of the city’s nightlife, girl used this opportunity to have a girl’s night out, drink cheap wine and learn a bit about the culture! Girl and her girl’s went to Le Marais, where the two hour line was possibly just as entertaining as the party inside! If we’ve learned one thing here, there is always an occasion to party.
